Williams County, OH (January 31, 2026) – A serious collision at the intersection of US-127 and US-6 in Williams County left three people hospitalized late Thursday night. The crash occurred around 9:00 p.m. on January 29 and involved two vehicles, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP).
Investigators say a 52-year-old man from Pioneer, Ohio, was traveling south on US-127 when he failed to yield while making a left turn. His vehicle collided with another car carrying a 46-year-old male driver and a 39-year-old female passenger. The impact resulted in significant injuries to all three individuals.
Emergency responders transported all three victims to Parkview Hospital for treatment. Due to the severity of their injuries, the 46-year-old man and 39-year-old woman were later flown to hospitals in Toledo for advanced care. Their current conditions have not been publicly released.
The intersection remained active with emergency crews and investigators as authorities worked to reconstruct the crash and gather witness statements. OSHP has confirmed that alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor in the incident, though the investigation remains ongoing.
We extend our thoughts to the injured and hope for their full and swift recovery.
