Lincoln, NE (January 31, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to an incident involving injuries at a gas station on W Cornhusker Hwy in Lincoln on January 30. The situation may involve a traffic-related event, and one vehicle reportedly fled the scene.
The incident occurred in the evening hours at a Casey’s location, where first responders were dispatched following reports of an injury. Witnesses described a white sedan leaving the area northbound on Northwest 6th St shortly after the event. The connection between the fleeing vehicle and the injury remains under investigation.
Lincoln Police and Fire personnel arrived quickly to assess the scene and provide care to the injured individual. The nature and extent of the injuries have not been released.
