Hartly, DE (February 1, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a traffic collision Saturday evening along Arthursville Rd in Kent County, resulting in multiple injuries and a medical airlift.
The crash was reported near the 2000 block of Arthursville Rd in the Hartly area. Units from Hartly, Cheswold, and Marydel fire departments, along with medics and Delaware State Police Aviation’s Trooper 4, were dispatched to the scene.
One injured individual was airlifted by Trooper 4 to Christiana Hospital for advanced care. Two additional patients were transported by ground ambulance to nearby medical facilities for further treatment. The extent of their injuries has not been officially released.
Authorities have not yet confirmed the circumstances that led to the crash, and an investigation is underway. Roadway activity was affected as crews worked the scene and ensured all patients received timely care.
