Pedestrian Risks on Residential Roadways
Roads like 65th Avenue near Blue Grass often support both neighborhood access and steady through traffic. When an injury accident is reported in Scott County, responders typically secure the area while checking on those involved.
Residential streets may appear quieter than major highways, but they can still present risks for pedestrians and drivers. Limited lighting, parked vehicles, and driveways can affect visibility, especially during evening hours.
Two-lane roads may also leave less room for drivers to avoid hazards. When pedestrians walk along or cross these roadways, reaction time and driver awareness can make a significant difference in preventing a crash.
