Beaumont, TX (March 25, 2026) – Two people were killed, and another was injured following a crash late on Tuesday night, March 24, on Interstate 10 in Beaumont.
Authorities said the collision occurred shortly after 10 p.m. in the 600 block of I-10 North and involved two vehicles. Emergency crews, including police, fire, and EMS, responded quickly to the scene to assist those involved.
Officials confirmed that two individuals were pronounced dead as a result of the crash. A third person sustained injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The extent of those injuries has not been disclosed.
The crash led to a full closure of the eastbound lanes of I-10 for several hours as crews investigated and cleared the scene. Traffic was significantly impacted before the roadway was reopened approximately four hours later.
