Why Motorcycle Ejection Increases the Risk of Fatal Injuries
Motorcycle crashes often result in riders being thrown from their bikes, especially during high-speed impacts. Without the protection of a vehicle frame, riders are more exposed to direct contact with the road or other vehicles, which can lead to severe harm.
Highways can increase the danger due to faster speeds and heavier traffic. Even a single moment of contact can cause a rider to lose control, making it difficult to avoid ejection during a crash.
Protective gear like helmets and riding equipment can help reduce injury severity, but the lack of structural protection remains a key factor. Road conditions, visibility, and traffic flow can also influence how these crashes occur and how serious the outcomes may be.
