Lincoln, NE (April 17, 2026) – A motorcyclist was critically injured following a crash Thursday night, April 16, near the University of Nebraska–Lincoln city campus. The collision occurred just before 11:40 p.m. at the intersection of North 17th Street and Antelope Valley Parkway.
Emergency units responded to the scene and found a motorcycle and another vehicle involved. Investigators said a 27-year-old man riding the motorcycle was traveling north on Antelope Valley Parkway when the crash occurred with a vehicle driven by a 19-year-old woman heading west on North 17th Street.
The motorcyclist was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition. The driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries. Authorities said the motorcyclist was later cited in connection with the crash.
