Vehicle Fires After Crashes Can Escalate Quickly
Crashes that involve fire can become dangerous within seconds. Fuel leaks, heat from the impact, and damaged electrical systems may all contribute to flames spreading rapidly.
In some cases, bystanders attempt rescues before emergency crews arrive. While these actions can help save lives, they also carry risks due to heat, smoke, and potential explosions.
Rollover crashes may increase the chance of fire if fuel systems are damaged. Quick response and safe evacuation are key factors in reducing harm when fires occur after a collision.
