Akron, OH (January 17, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a vehicle accident at the intersection of Delia Ave and Frederick Blvd on January 15 that left at least one person injured. The crash occurred shortly before 1:00 p.m., prompting the dispatch of Med 12 and Engine 12 to the scene.
Responders arrived to find at least one individual requiring medical attention. The person was treated on-site, though officials have not disclosed the extent of the injuries or whether transport to a hospital was necessary. It is also unclear how many vehicles were involved in the collision.
Traffic in the area was temporarily impacted as responders provided care and worked to safely clear the scene. The intersection remained partially blocked until emergency crews completed their work.
