Albany, NY (January 16, 2026) – A vehicle collision resulting in injuries was reported on Thursday near Krank Park in the Cherry Hill neighborhood of Albany. The incident occurred at approximately 475 S Pearl St, drawing a swift response from local emergency crews.
According to initial reports, the crash involved at least two vehicles and took place near the entrance to the park during the afternoon hours. Albany Fire Department personnel and EMS arrived at the scene and rendered aid to multiple individuals. At least one person sustained injuries requiring transport to a nearby hospital for further care. The extent of the injuries has not yet been confirmed, but was not believed to be life-threatening.
