Albuquerque, NM (September 23, 2025) – A traffic accident involving a semi-truck caused serious disruption on I-40 eastbound Monday evening, sending emergency crews to the scene near mile marker 141.
At approximately 5:10 p.m., Engine 6 and Rescue 66 units from Albuquerque-Bernalillo County-Rio Rancho Fire/Rescue were dispatched to the crash site. The collision involved at least one semi-truck and resulted in reported injuries, though the number of individuals hurt and the extent of their injuries have not yet been made public.
