Albuquerque, NM (September 24, 2025) – Emergency crews responded Tuesday evening to a traffic accident with injuries at the intersection of Central Ave NW and Sunset Rd SW in Albuquerque. The crash was reported at approximately 6:43 PM local time, and was classified as a “29 Bravo 1” call—indicating a motor vehicle accident with confirmed injuries.
Engine 1 was dispatched to the scene, where responders located those involved and provided immediate medical assistance. While the total number of injured individuals has not been confirmed, emergency personnel were actively treating at least one person at the location.
This intersection, which sits along one of Albuquerque’s busiest east-west corridors, frequently experiences heavy traffic from both local and through-travel. Evening congestion may have contributed to the crash, although the official cause remains under investigation.
