Albuquerque, NM (September 10, 2025) – Two separate traffic accidents resulting in injuries were reported in the early hours of Wednesday near Lido Northeast in Albuquerque. The collisions occurred around 2:08 a.m., prompting emergency response teams to dispatch multiple units, including Engine 9 and Rescue 16, to the scene.
Crews arrived to find victims injured in both crashes, which happened in close proximity. Medics from Albuquerque Fire and Rescue provided care on-site, evaluating and assisting those hurt in the incidents. Although the number of people injured has not been confirmed, authorities treated the situation with elevated priority, consistent with the “29 Bravo 1” emergency code designation used for incidents involving injuries.
Given the early morning hour, reduced visibility and low traffic volume may have played a role, though the cause of each collision remains under investigation. Officials have not yet confirmed whether the two accidents were related or coincidental. Traffic control measures were established along Lido Northeast to ensure safety during rescue operations and cleanup efforts.
The conditions of those injured have not yet been made public, and police are working to determine the sequence of events and contributing factors in each case.
Our thoughts are with all individuals impacted by these collisions, and we wish everyone involved a swift and full recovery.
