Albuquerque, NM (September 10, 2025) – Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle accident that resulted in injuries near the intersection of 98th Street Southwest and Sage Road Southwest in Albuquerque. The crash was reported around 3:52 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, during one of the city’s busiest traffic periods.
Units from Rescue 14 were initially dispatched to a different location but were quickly rerouted and confirmed on scene at the 98th and Sage intersection. First responders located at least one injured individual and began providing medical care at the site. While full details remain limited, radio communication confirmed the incident involved two vehicles and resulted in patient contact at the intersection.
The crash prompted a “29 Bravo 1” response designation, indicating a confirmed injury and requiring immediate assessment and stabilization. Crews evaluated the need for further support but determined that additional fire suppression equipment was not required at that time.
