The Alexandria Police Department confirmed the accident occurred on January 15 on the northbound side of North Van Dorn St at the intersection with Holmes Run Pkwy. Responding officers arrived at the scene shortly after the incident was reported and found the teen critically injured as a result of the pedestrian-vehicle collision.
