Anaheim, CA (January 30, 2026) – A two-vehicle accident occurred late Friday morning on westbound SR-91 just east of State College Blvd in Anaheim, resulting in reported injuries and prompting a response from paramedics and towing services. The crash took place approximately one mile west of the offramp and caused brief slowdowns along the highway shoulder.
Reports from the scene indicate the incident involved a black BMW and a white sedan. Both vehicles came to rest along the right shoulder, and early details suggest the collision occurred during active traffic. A third driver in a silver Nissan may have been involved or was positioned just behind the impacted vehicles, though that involvement remains under review.
Emergency medical teams were dispatched shortly after the crash and evaluated individuals for a variety of injuries. While the full scope of injuries has not yet been released, paramedics provided on-site assistance and confirmed the need for additional support.
Bitetto’s Tow was called to the location and arrived with a flatbed truck to assist in removing the damaged vehicles. The roadway remained passable, though authorities issued advisories due to activity on the shoulder.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the circumstances of the crash, including possible lane-change maneuvers or traffic flow disruptions that may have contributed to the accident.
We extend our thoughts to those involved and hope for a speedy recovery for anyone injured in today’s incident.
