Arapahoe County, CO (January 16, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a reported injury crash Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of South Blackwood Street and East Mississippi Avenue in Aurora.
The incident was reported shortly after 3:15 p.m., with Engine 400 dispatched to the scene. Early reports indicated that at least one person was injured in the collision, though the extent of injuries has not yet been made public.
First responders operated on TAC 2 and worked to assess the condition of those involved while managing traffic through the busy intersection. The area surrounding E Mississippi Avenue saw some delays as crews secured the scene.
