Atlanta, GA (September 4, 2025) – A serious head-on collision between two vehicles occurred on the evening of September 3 on Campbellton Rd near 3rd St NW, leaving at least three people injured and requiring multiple emergency units at the scene.
Atlanta Fire Rescue confirmed that the crash happened shortly before 6:00 PM and involved major front-end damage to both vehicles. One adult male was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment, while two adult females were evaluated at the scene for injuries. Due to the severity of the collision, an additional transport unit and Quick Response Vehicle (QRV) were dispatched to assist.
First responders worked swiftly to secure the intersection and provide medical care, while some units were released after stabilization of the scene.
The Atlanta Police Department is currently investigating.
