Atlanta, GA (August 21, 2025) – A man lost his life late Wednesday night in a crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV in southeast Atlanta. The fatal collision happened at the intersection of Memorial Dr SE and Boulevard SE shortly after 11:35 p.m., according to Atlanta police.
Emergency crews arrived to find the rider of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle unresponsive. Despite efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene by medical officials. The victim’s identity has not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin.
Investigators determined that a BMW SUV was traveling west on Boulevard when its driver failed to stop while turning left, colliding with the motorcycle. Police confirmed that the driver of the SUV remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. The investigation remains ongoing.
