Rollover Crashes and Injury Risks in Texas
Rollover crashes, such as the one reported on the N I-35 service road, are among the most dangerous types of accidents due to the high likelihood of severe injuries. These incidents often occur when a vehicle loses control at higher speeds, strikes another object, or attempts to avoid a sudden hazard on the roadway.
In Texas, rollover crashes contribute to a significant number of highway and service road fatalities each year. According to the Texas Department of Transportation, SUVs and pickup trucks are more prone to rolling over because of their higher center of gravity. Fatigue, distracted driving, and overcorrection are also common contributing factors.
Survivors of rollover crashes frequently face long recoveries, including both physical and emotional challenges. Beyond medical treatment, they may also encounter difficulties with insurance claims and vehicle replacement.
