Azusa, CA (September 12, 2025) – A motorcyclist was tragically killed in a collision early Thursday morning after striking a parked vehicle along West Gladstone Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal crash occurred at approximately 12:07 a.m. in front of the 195 block of W Gladstone St near the intersection with S Azusa Ave. Authorities say the motorcyclist was traveling along Gladstone St when they collided with a car that was parked along the side of the road.
First responders with Azusa Police and emergency medical personnel arrived shortly after the crash and attempted life-saving efforts. Despite their efforts, the rider succumbed to injuries sustained in the collision and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Investigators are working to determine the events that led up to the impact, including whether speed, visibility, or roadway conditions played a role. The identity of the deceased motorcyclist has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.
