Bakersfield, CA (September 13, 2025) – A vehicle accident early Friday morning resulted in minor injuries near Fruitvale Ave in the 93308 area of Bakersfield. The incident occurred around 6:13 a.m. and prompted a response from Kern County Fire, Bakersfield Fire Department, and other emergency personnel.
Upon arrival, crews found all vehicles involved upright and no major damage reported. Fire teams conducted on-site assessments and treated several individuals for minor injuries. All patients were classified as “green tags,” indicating non-serious injuries. No one required transport to the hospital, and the on-scene ambulance was canceled shortly afterward.
Traffic in the immediate area was briefly affected as crews completed their response and cleared the scene. According to radio dispatch audio, all emergency units wrapped up operations within minutes of confirming the incident was under control.
Authorities have not yet released details on what led to the crash, though the California Highway Patrol was noted to be involved in the response. The accident remains under review.
