Barstow, CA (August 18, 2025) – One person was killed Sunday evening in a fatal collision on northbound Interstate 15 near mile marker 170, in the Barstow area of San Bernardino County, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The incident was reported at approximately 6:35 p.m. and was designated as a 1144-fatality by responding units. While specific details about the crash remain limited, emergency personnel confirmed one person died as a result of the collision.
It is not yet clear how many vehicles were involved or what led up to the fatal event. CHP and other local emergency services responded to the scene to investigate the crash and coordinate cleanup efforts.
