Benton County, WA (September 12, 2025) – A hit-and-run collision occurred Wednesday morning on I-82 westbound, approximately 18 miles south of Kennewick, resulting in injuries to a 68-year-old woman from Pendleton. The incident, which was reported at around 5:17 a.m., involved the woman slowing down for traffic when another vehicle, a maroon 2006 Jeep Cherokee, failed to slow down and crashed into her car before fleeing the scene.
Emergency responders transported the injured woman to the hospital for treatment, though the extent of her injuries has not been fully disclosed.
