Bloomingdale Township, MI (August 10, 2025) – A crash involving an SUV and an Amish buggy left six people hospitalized on Friday evening, August 8, near the village of Bloomingdale. The incident occurred at approximately 7:45 PM on County Road 388, between 45th and 46th streets, when the westbound buggy was struck from behind by the SUV.
Five of the six individuals injured in the crash sustained serious or critical injuries and were transported to nearby hospitals. The other individual’s injuries were not reported as severe. The victims were riding in the buggy when the collision occurred, and authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
