Boston, MA (January 16, 2026) – A major crash involving multiple vehicles on the southbound side of the Southeast Expressway left several people seriously injured on Thursday afternoon, according to Massachusetts State Police.
The collision occurred around 3:30 p.m. near Exit 15 and initially sparked concern that one individual had died. However, state police later confirmed the victim was alive but suffered serious injuries.
