Bowling Green, KY (May 16, 2025) – A man was injured early Friday morning after attempting to exit a moving vehicle in front of Jumpin Jacks on Stonehenge Ave. The incident occurred around 4:20 a.m. and prompted a response from Bowling Green Fire Department Engine 4, EMS, and Bowling Green Police Department.
According to emergency reports, the male subject attempted to jump from the vehicle and was subsequently run over by one of the vehicle’s tires, which struck his leg. Remarkably, the man was observed standing and limping when first responders arrived, though he appeared to be in pain and required medical evaluation.
EMS treated the man on scene, and further transport to a medical facility was likely for imaging and treatment of potential fractures or soft tissue damage. Police were also present to document the incident and determine the full circumstances behind the unusual injury event.
No additional individuals were reported injured, and the vehicle involved remained on-site.
We wish the injured man a full and speedy recovery.
