Bowling Green, KY (March 14, 2025) – A serious injury crash occurred Thursday afternoon on northbound Interstate-165 at the 4-mile marker, prompting a response from Kentucky State Police (KSP) and emergency personnel.

According to a preliminary investigation, the crash took place just after 3:00 p.m. when a 2007 Honda Pilot, driven by Enma Valles, 54, of Bowling Green, attempted to enter I-165 northbound from Russellville Road. Reports indicate that Ms. Valles’s vehicle crossed both lanes and the median, entering the southbound lane, where it collided with a black commercial motor vehicle operated by Charles Toll, 62, of Beech Creek.

Ms. Valles sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to TriStar Skyline Medical Center for treatment. The extent of her injuries has not been disclosed.

Kentucky State Police Trooper Grant Robertson is leading the investigation, with assistance from Warren County EMS and other KSP personnel.

Our thoughts are with Ms. Valles and her loved ones, and we hope for a full recovery.
