Golf Cart Accidents in Vermont
While golf carts are often associated with recreational use, they can still pose significant dangers, especially when operated on uneven terrain or at higher speeds. Ejections are one of the most common causes of serious injuries in golf cart accidents, with head trauma being a frequent and often severe result.
In Vermont, golf cart operators are encouraged to follow safety guidelines such as using seat belts if available, keeping all limbs inside the cart, and avoiding abrupt turns or excessive speeds. Helmets are also advisable in situations where golf carts are used off-road or in areas with higher rollover risk.
Local Accident Reports reminds residents that even low-speed vehicles require caution and responsible operation.
