Bremerton, WA (April 21, 2025) – A Tacoma woman sustained injuries in a suspected DUI crash Friday evening on State Route 16 near Pearl Street, according to local authorities. The collision, which occurred around 7:00 p.m., has prompted a criminal investigation into impaired driving.
Troopers with the Washington State Patrol (WSP) reported that the vehicle involved was traveling along SR 16 when the driver, suspected to be under the influence, lost control near the Pearl Street interchange. The car left the roadway and either collided with a barrier or another object, resulting in injuries to a female passenger.
Emergency crews responded swiftly, providing on-scene medical aid and transporting the injured woman to a local hospital for further evaluation. Her current condition has not been officially released, but she was reported as conscious following the crash.
