Callaway County, MO (January 26, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash occurred on the eastbound US-54 overpass ramp near ramp 699, resulting in injuries to both drivers. The accident was reported at approximately 6:16 p.m.
According to the crash report, the incident occurred when a 2018 Ford F-150, driven by a 56-year-old male from Mexico, MO, ran a red light and collided with a 2009 Toyota Camry in the intersection. The Camry was being driven by a 24-year-old male from Lake St. Louis, MO. Both vehicles sustained extensive damage and were towed from the scene—one by Becky’s Towing and the other by Kendall’s Towing.
The driver of the Ford F-150 sustained moderate injuries, while the driver of the Toyota Camry suffered injuries. Both were wearing safety devices at the time of the crash and were transported by Callaway EMS to University Hospital for treatment.
