According to reports, the vehicle was traveling westbound when it veered off an embankment and overturned. Emergency crews responded promptly, providing aid to the driver and passenger, both of whom sustained serious injuries. They were transported by ambulance to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau for further treatment.
