Cass County, MO (August 11, 2025) – A serious crash at the intersection of Hwy 2 and Hwy C in Cass County left five people injured Saturday afternoon, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The collision occurred around 4:35 p.m.
Troopers report that a 2018 Honda Accord, driven by a 16-year-old girl from Peculiar, was attempting to turn left when it entered the path of a 2013 Ford Edge traveling westbound. The Ford struck the Honda, causing extensive damage to both vehicles.
The juvenile driver of the Honda and a 47-year-old male passenger, also from Peculiar, sustained serious injuries and were transported to Research Medical Center. In the Ford, a 63-year-old female passenger from Harrisonville suffered serious injuries, while the 65-year-old male driver from Harrisonville and an 81-year-old female passenger from Freemon sustained moderate injuries. The latter two were transported to Cass Regional Medical Center.
