Castle Shannon, PA (September 15, 2025) – A devastating explosion and fire in Castle Shannon left one person dead and another seriously injured on Sunday morning. The incident occurred at approximately 10:00 a.m. at a residence located at 840 Corbett Drive. The home was completely engulfed in flames by the time first responders arrived on the scene.
Multiple 911 calls were made, reporting an explosion followed by a raging fire at the house. Firefighters from Castle Shannon and surrounding departments immediately rushed to the scene to fight the blaze and rescue those trapped inside.
