Cerritos, CA (September 15, 2025) – A traffic collision involving injuries was reported early Monday morning at the intersection of Carmenita Rd and Trumball St in Cerritos, prompting a medical and towing response. According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash involved a white SUV and a gray Honda. The incident was upgraded from a “1183 – Unknown Injuries” to a “1179 – Collision with Ambulance En Route” after initial dispatch, confirming that emergency medical services were requested under Code 1141.
Responding units noted that both vehicles were not drivable and were blocking lanes in each direction. Two tow trucks were requested—one from Kenny’s Towing and another from Titan Tow—to assist in clearing the scene.
