Champaign County, IL (January 11, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash involving two semi-trucks and a passenger car resulted in the closure of part of Interstate 74 westbound in Champaign County Friday morning. The incident occurred near milepost 194 close to St. Joseph at approximately 11 a.m.
Illinois State Police responded to the scene and closed the westbound lanes of I-74, redirecting traffic off the interstate at milepost 197. Emergency crews worked to assist those involved and clear the roadway.
