Charleston, SC (January 16, 2026) – A woman was transported to a local medical facility Thursday evening following a motor vehicle accident near Ashley Ave in Charleston. Emergency medical personnel from Richland County reported that the crash caused front-left vehicle damage and led to multiple injury complaints from the restrained driver.
The woman, whose identity and age have not been released, was alert during transport but had experienced a confirmed brief loss of consciousness at the scene. Responders noted pain in her wrists, left knee, chest, and a head strike on the right side of her head. Airbags had deployed during the collision, and no indication of medication complications was reported.
