Charlotte, NC (September 6, 2025) – Emergency responders rushed to the scene of a vehicle crash on Friday morning near the intersection of Central Ave and N Sharon Amity Rd in Charlotte’s east side. The accident was reported around 11:01 a.m. and resulted in at least one person sustaining a head injury.
According to Charlotte and Mecklenburg County Fire dispatch, Engine 65 and medical units arrived quickly to provide aid. The injured individual received on-scene treatment for head trauma before being transported for further care. The vehicle involved was moved off the road to help restore traffic flow along the busy corridor.
The incident occurred near the Granville apartment complex in the 3700 block of N Sharon Amity Rd, just north of Central Ave. Traffic was temporarily slowed as emergency personnel cleared the roadway and ensured safety in the area.
