Chatsworth, CA (September 11, 2025) – At least one person was injured after a multi-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon, September 10, on the westbound 118 Freeway in Chatsworth. The California Highway Patrol reported the collision happened at about 12:18 p.m. just east of Topanga Cyn Blvd.
Several vehicles were involved in the crash, including a Walmart truck, a black Dodge Ram pickup, and a garbage truck. The events leading up to the collision have not yet been determined.
Paramedics from the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded and provided medical aid to at least one injured individual. That person was transported to a hospital, though further details about their condition were not released.
Traffic in the area was impacted as emergency crews assisted victims and cleared the roadway. Authorities have not yet confirmed the total number of people involved or whether additional injuries occurred.
