Chattanooga, TN (January 9, 2026) – Emergency crews in Chattanooga responded early on Thursday morning to a vehicle crash with injuries near a local Kangaroo Express on Brainerd Rd. The accident occurred between South Germantown Rd and Oral Dr, prompting a swift response from Medic 11, Engine 15, and local police units.
First responders provided immediate care to two individuals who were reportedly injured in the crash. Both patients were evaluated for neck pain, and one was noted to have a bloody nose. Emergency medical personnel remained on scene to assess the victims and determine if hospital transport was required.
The collision occurred just after midnight, at approximately 12:57 a.m., in a busy commercial area of Brainerd Rd commonly traveled by both locals and late-night commuters. The presence of multiple emergency units helped manage the scene and maintain traffic flow during the response.
