Chattanooga, TN (August 12, 2025) – Emergency responders were dispatched to a vehicle crash with injuries at the intersection of Scenic Hwy and Sanders Rd in Chattanooga. The crash was reported at approximately 11:04 a.m., with reports indicating that a one-year-old male child was among the injured and had to be extricated from the vehicle.
The child was treated on the scene and transported to a nearby medical facility for further care. Authorities confirmed that the child’s injuries are being evaluated, and additional medical support was requested for the child’s treatment.
The crash also involved a 71-year-old male, who was reported to be experiencing back pain. It is not clear at this time the extent of injuries to other parties involved in the crash. Emergency crews from Hamilton County Public Safety and local responders assisted in clearing the scene and providing care.
