Cincinnati, OH (January 29, 2026) – A serious two-vehicle crash early on Wednesday morning on Fort Washington Way left one person trapped and injured, prompting a swift rescue and medical response near the Elm St exit.
The collision occurred shortly before 4:00 a.m., involving two vehicles, one of which overturned and came to rest on its side. Emergency crews responded quickly to the scene, where one individual was found trapped inside the overturned vehicle.
Firefighters conducted an extrication operation to safely remove the occupant from the vehicle. Medics were on hand to assist during the rescue and provided medical care to the injured individual afterward. The extent of the injuries sustained has not yet been released.
Both vehicles sustained significant damage, and the crash caused temporary lane closures along Fort Washington Way as responders worked to clear the scene and ensure the safety of other drivers.
