Clarksburg, WV (August 13, 2025) – A vehicle collided with an e-bike on U.S. 50 near its junction with Interstate 79 in Clarksburg on Monday morning at approximately 5:40 a.m. The collision resulted in the e-bike rider, a female, sustaining injuries and being transported to WVU Medicine United Hospital Center for treatment.
Clarksburg Deputy Chief Jason Webber confirmed that the injured cyclist was quickly attended to by emergency responders at the scene. The severity of her injuries has not yet been disclosed, but she was taken to the hospital for further evaluation. As of the latest update, her condition remains unknown.
The Clarksburg Police Department is continuing its investigation into the cause of the accident.
