Cleveland, OH (February 5, 2025) – Three men were critically injured in a crash on Interstate 90 westbound Tuesday night, according to Cleveland EMS crews.
The accident occurred just before the West 41st Street exit, prompting a large emergency response. EMS officials confirmed that the victims—men believed to be 40, 41, and 50 years old—were transported to MetroHealth Medical Center in critical condition.
The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) reported that all westbound lanes of I-90 were blocked at West 41st, leading to major traffic disruptions. The interchange from I-71 south to I-90 west was also shut down, with backups stretching along I-490 and I-71 north.
Authorities have since reopened the highways, but the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
