Coarsegold, CA (September 10, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash on northbound Highway 41 left one person dead and at least two others injured Sunday evening in the Coarsegold area, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision was reported at approximately 7:37 p.m. on September 7, just north of Road 406. The vehicles involved were a black Honda Accord and a Ford Escape. The circumstances leading up to the crash have not yet been fully determined.
First responders arrived to find multiple people hurt and one elderly occupant pinned inside one of the vehicles. Emergency crews worked quickly to free the individual, and CPR was performed at the scene on one of the critically injured victims. Tragically, at least one person was later confirmed deceased.
Two others sustained injuries and were transported to area hospitals for treatment. Their current conditions remain unknown.
Authorities have not released the identities of those involved, and the crash remains under investigation as officers work to determine what factors contributed to the deadly impact.
