Colonial Heights, VA (September 15, 2025) – A crash involving two vehicles caused injuries and traffic disruption early Monday morning along Charles H Dimmock Parkway near Temple Lake Drive.
The collision occurred just after 8:30 a.m., prompting units from Colonial Heights Fire and EMS to respond to the scene. A woman driving a white Volkswagen Jetta reported back pain following the crash. According to responders, no airbags deployed in the Jetta, and both vehicles remained in the roadway following the impact.
The area near Temple Lake Drive, a busy corridor with nearby businesses and fast-food outlets, experienced delays as crews worked to assess the scene and tend to the injured. Emergency medical services evaluated the woman at the scene for a variety of injuries consistent with crash trauma. Her current condition has not yet been disclosed.
Authorities have not indicated what may have caused the incident, and the accident remains under active investigation. No further injuries were immediately reported.
