Delaware Co, OH (January 16, 2026) – A motor vehicle accident resulting in injuries was reported early Friday morning along the 5000 block of US Highway 23 North in Delaware County.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene around 1:30 a.m., where they found at least one vehicle involved in a crash along the northbound stretch of the highway. Paramedics evaluated the individuals involved and provided treatment for injuries sustained in the collision. At least one person was transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care. The extent of the injuries has not yet been confirmed.
Traffic in the area was temporarily affected as law enforcement and rescue crews worked to clear the scene and ensure roadway safety during nighttime conditions.
The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office is handling the investigation and will be reviewing potential contributing factors such as road conditions, visibility, and driver impairment or distraction.
