El Monte, CA (September 10, 2025) – A traffic collision on the eastbound 10 Freeway left one person injured and hospitalized Sunday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at approximately 7:47 p.m. on the 10 Freeway, just west of Santa Anita Ave. Authorities confirmed that a Honda Civic and a second vehicle were involved in the incident, though the events leading up to the collision remain under investigation.
Emergency crews from the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene and provided assistance to at least one individual who reported pain following the crash. That person was transported to Greater El Monte Community Hospital for evaluation and treatment.
