Elkview, WV (January 17, 2026) – First responders were dispatched to a vehicle accident with reported injuries on I-79 North in the Elkview area on January 15. The crash was reported at approximately 12:44 p.m. near mile marker 7, prompting a medical and emergency response.
Upon arrival, emergency crews located the crash scene and began evaluating at least one person who was reportedly injured. While the total number of vehicles involved was not confirmed, responders remained on site to provide treatment and manage traffic through the area.
