Encino, CA (November 14, 2025) – A multi-vehicle collision on the Ventura (101) Freeway in Encino left two people hospitalized Thursday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 11:50 a.m. in the northbound lanes near White Oak Avenue and involved six vehicles. Preliminary information suggests that one of the drivers may have suffered a medical emergency, triggering the chain-reaction collision.
Emergency crews responded promptly to the scene, assessing multiple individuals and transporting two patients to a local hospital for further care. The extent of their injuries has not yet been disclosed.
Due to the number of vehicles involved and the debris scattered across lanes, northbound traffic was shut down temporarily while authorities conducted an investigation and cleared the roadway.
